Fishing at West End Pond

The fishing in West End Pond (also known as Lake Natalie) is excellent.  Bass fishing is strictly catch-and-release; other fish are fine to catch, clean, and eat.  Big Bass Lake restricts the use of Golden Shimmer minnows for bait as they are an ecological risk.

Pennsylvania requires all people 16 and over to purchase a fishing license.  The local game warden often checks licenses.  You can buy a temporary or annual fishing license at this website.  The average cost for a 7-day temporary license (for non-PA residents) is $36. It is cheaper for PA residents.
